Fall Leadership, Policy & Advocacy Conference

Chapter President Lydia Jemison and EBR City/Parish planner Lael Holton recently attended the APA Fall Leadership, Policy & Advocacy conference in Washington, D.C. [ Lael wrote a 2-page summary available here.]  The conference included presentations by noted public relations expert Christopher Graves, transportation revitalization expert Gabe Klein, former Senator Mary Landrieu, representatives from HUD, social media experts, and others. On Tuesday the planners collectively made their way to Capitol Hill to meet with their respective legislative delegation to convey their ideas and concerns for various policy issues. So download and read Lael's summary.
